Kaos GL’s previously used website, KaosGL.org, has also been inaccessible from Turkey since June 2025. Following the access block, Kaos GL continued its publishing activities through KaosGL1.org.
Following the “My Family is Safe” operation targeting LGBTI+ people in Turkey, access to KaosGL1.org has also been blocked. KaosGL1.org was blocked by a decision of the Bakırköy 4th Criminal Judgeship of Peace dated September 13, 2026, numbered 2026/9112 D.İş.
Kaos GL’s previously used website, KaosGL.org, has also been inaccessible from Turkey since June 2025. Following the access block, Kaos GL continued its publishing activities through KaosGL1.org.
With the latest decision, the new website used by Kaos GL for its publications has also been blocked from access in Turkey. In addition, Kaos GL Editor-in-Chief Yıldız Tar’s new X account has been blocked from access in Turkey.
According to a report by EngelliWeb, the X accounts blocked in Turkey include those of Evrensel newspaper, Amnesty International, Academics for Peace, the Media and Law Studies Association (MLSA), Kaos GL News, TİP LGBTİ+, Özgür Genç Kadın, Kadın Dayanışması, Mor Dayanışma, and the Ali İsmail Korkmaz Foundation. The X accounts of Barbaros Altuğ, İrem Afşin, Özlem Akarsu Çelik, Fırat Fıstık, Umut Rojda Yıldırım, Atilla Dirim, Sena Yazıbağlı, and Arzu Bulut have also been blocked.
